"I think I can hold them off for a little while longer." He understood their concern, but he'd also known Hijikata wouldn't want to deal with it while he was still relatively incapacitated. "Maybe once you can stand on your own, hm?" Until then he'd do what he had to to make sure he could recover in peace, even if it meant ruffling some feathers.
