Oh, I see his point. I doubt I'll ever manage to develop the necessary amount of caution in practice, but I largely agree in theory.

Ah, I see. Yes, that's not good. There's a big difference between trust and commitment - I have plenty of relationships involving the first, just not so sure about the second. Commitment involves a lot more work, and thus is much more likely to be broken, in my experience.

Yeah - someone is going to have to break through TST!Rufus's shell eventually, probably Yami or Watson. Maybe Momo. FF7!Rufus at least has his Turks and by AC has reached a point where he can trust others.
